 Rolf Straatemeier APM is a retired Queensland Police Officer who spent much of his career as a detective, then on being promoted to Inspector, held roles in management as a District Officer, Patrol Group Inspector, and for many years, a District Disaster Coordinator.

Rolf has a wide experience in the field of consequence management, development of policies, and has successfully conducted a number of exercises in the disaster management and major incident space.   At one point in his career he was the Education and Training Officer for State Crime Operations Command.  

During his work with the Queensland Police Service he headed a review of IT practices within State Crime Operations Command and a review of policing in the CBD of Cairns.  

As a district officer, he has given evidence in the Coronial  Inquests, recommending improved practices to minimise injury or death in the workplace.  

He is availble to assist in conducting exercises, examining risk management practices or the development of practical policies for the management of risk within the workplace.
